Our client, J.M. worked as a prison guard. He suffered an injury to his neck during an altercation with an inmate. The employer denied his claim. We were able to get him some much needed medical treatment (including surgery) and benefits while he was off work. After he recovered from the surgery, we were able to settle his claim for a lump sum payment of $125,000.

$72,000 settlement for a knee injury
Our client, N.S. suffered a knee injury while working for a hamburger distribution center. The employer denied to claim because of a so- called “pre-existing condition”. We were able to settle her claim for a lump sum payment of $72,000

$110,000 for a work-related heart attack
Our client, T.T., worked as a manager for a property management company. He suffered a heart attack after lifting a heavy piece of furniture. His claim was denied as “pre-existing” because he had been told several years ago that his cholesterol was elevated. We were able to settle his claim for a lump sum payment of $110,000.

$17,000 for a knee injury
Our client, C.S. suffered a knee injury while working for a packaging courier. While her claim was initially accepted, the workers comp carrier eventually decided to suspend all benefits. We were able to resolve her claim for a lump sum of $17,000.

$36,000 for a back injury
Our client, C.S., came to us with just a few days before his statute of limitations expired on his work-related back injury. We got his claim filed and he was awarded income benefits in excess of $36,000 as well as lifetime medical benefits for his back.

$10,000 for carpal tunnel
Our client, B.P., came to us in need of help with her carpal tunnel claim which had been denied by her employer. We got her lost time benefits started and later, was able to settle her claim for a lump sum of $10,000.
